Spinal Flow Technique - Toronto
Gentle, trauma-informed spinal treatment by Yazmin Shroff
It's not always your muscles or joints asking for attention. Sometimes it's your nervous system, still on high alert long after whatever caused the stress has passed. Spinal Flow Technique works with that directly. Yazmin uses light fingertip contact at specific points along your spine to help your body ease out of that heightened state, no adjustments, no cracking, nothing forceful about it.

How we work
Seven Gateways in Spinal Flow Technique
Understanding the path to wellness- one getaway at a time
Spinal Flow Classes
All Spinal Flow classes use the inherent rhythm of the body through light pressure of fingertips on particular gateway points in the spine. The purpose of using these gateways is to help the nervous system release accumulated tension and regain balance between the brain and body.
Base Gateway
Helps with grounding and balance. This gateway is useful in releasing the tension in the lower spine and pelvis and promoting the feeling of safety.
Pause Gateway
Promotes relaxation and reset of the nervous system. Contact with the spine in this gateway will help the body relax and switch from stress mode to regulation.
Centre Gateway
Balances the flow, brings harmony in the body. It helps in harmonization of the spine and improving posture and energy.
All these gateways are important for nervous system regulation and releasing the stress and tensions in the body.
