What Are Custom Orthotics?
Think of custom orthotics as precision-built supports shaped entirely around your feet. Unlike store-bought inserts that are made for nobody in particular, these are engineered to match your personal stride and mechanics. You just slide them into your shoes to help take the strain off your arches and keep your body aligned.

Every pair of feet is different, which is why we offer two distinct fitting methods depending on your preference and practitioner approach:
- Dr. Jordanna's Digital Casting: Utilizes advanced 3D iPad scanning technology via Orthogenic Laboratories to capture precise digital measurements and models of your feet.
- Dr. David's Physical Foot Casting: Relies on traditional, hands-on physical casting techniques to map the exact contours of your feet.

Plan for about 30 minutes. You don't need to be a chiropractic patient to book this appointment .Every orthotics assessment at Health Haven follows the same straightforward process, whether you're an existing patient or visiting us for the first time.

We listen
We ask about your daily activity, any discomfort you've noticed, and what you're hoping orthotics might help with.

We Assess
Your practitioner looks at how you stand and walk, and takes a casting or scan of your feet using either the digital or physical method.

We Explain
We walk you through what the casting showed and go over your options, so you understand what to expect before moving forward.

We Fit
Once your orthotics are ready, your practitioner checks the fit and makes sure they work well with your footwear and daily routine.

Custom Orthotics Pricing
Your assessment will include a full discussion of cost and next steps before you commit to anything.
Chiropractic
- Initial chiro visit 45min–1hr — $150
- Chiro treatment 15 min — $65
- Chiro treatment 20 min — $80
- Chiro treatment 30 min — $100
- Custom made orthotics — $500
(*We provide a detailed insurance form for our patients to claim back, however, orthotics cannot go through direct billing)
We direct bill most plans, including Telus Health, Greenshield, and Sunlife. If you're not sure whether your provider qualifies, please check with us. For plans outside these, you'd pay at your visit and we'll give you a receipt to submit for reimbursement.

Dr. Jordanna founded Health Haven in 2020 and has been practicing chiropractic since 2005. She is Webster Certified. For custom orthotics, she uses a digital casting method through Orthogenic.
Dr. David Hyde, D.C. (chiro 2571)
CHIROPRACTOR
Dr. David is a graduate of CMCC with 30 years of clinical experience. He has taught clinical diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal disorders at two professional colleges and has served as a volunteer examiner for the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board since 2012. For custom orthotics, he uses a physical foot casting method.
Dr. Jordanna Clarfield-Henry and Dr. David Hyde are chiropractors registered in Ontario and members of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO).

Do You Need to Be a Chiropractic Patient?
Not at all. You don't have to be a current chiropractic patient at Health Haven to get fitted for custom orthotics. If chiropractic care isn't part of your routine here, you'll come in for an orthotics-only assessment instead of a full chiropractic exam.
At that visit, we'll look at your feet, ask a bit about your daily activities, and figure out together whether digital or physical casting makes more sense for you. After that, it's the same process for everyone. Longtime patient or first-time visitor, the path to getting fitted looks the same.

No, you do not need to be an existing chiropractic patient at Health Haven to receive custom orthotics. This is a standalone service open to anyone looking for proper foot support, requiring only an initial assessment with one of our practitioners.
