We offer direct billing for many insurance plans, including those covered through Telus Health, Greenshield, and Sunlife. If your provider isn't on our direct billing list, you can pay at your visit and submit the receipt to your insurer yourself.

How Our Direct Billing Works

We offer direct billing for many insurance plans, so you can skip the paperwork and pay less out of pocket at your visit. We direct bill insurance companies through Telus Health, Green Shield, and Sun Life. This includes Green Shield plans, including affiliated companies such as Entente, Empire Life, RBC, and others.

We’re currently unable to direct bill Blue Cross and a small number of other insurance companies that are not supported through Telus Health, Green Shield, or Sun Life. If your provider is not eligible for direct billing, you’ll pay for your service at the time of your visit and can submit your receipt to your insurer for reimbursement.

Insurance Coverage

Coverage depends on your specific plan. If your extended health coverage includes registered massage therapy, you can usually submit your receipt for reimbursement, and some plans allow direct billing. It's worth checking your policy directly since coverage varies from plan to plan.

Exceptions

Some plans require a Medical Doctor's referral for massage or custom orthotics to be covered. If yours does, get the note before your appointment, since insurance may decline a claim dated after your visit. You'll need to submit the referral to your insurer yourself, as we're not able to do this on your behalf, and a referral isn't required for us to provide your treatment.
