Energy Healing
What is Reiki?
Reiki, a mystical art born from the depths of Japanese tradition, offers a gateway to profound rejuvenation and holistic healing. It taps into the boundless energy coursing through every living entity, weaving a tapestry of balance, tranquility, and restoration.
Picture yourself lying down comfortably, enveloped in your attire, as the Reiki practitioner delicately positions their hands over your form. With a gentle touch, they navigate the currents of your being, seeking out stagnant pools and dissonant vibrations. As the cosmic energy flows, sensations may ripple through you—a tingling embrace, a subtle warmth, or perhaps a serene surrender to relaxation.
This ancient practice operates on myriad planes, transcending physical afflictions to soothe emotional turmoil, alleviate mental burdens, and even assuage spiritual disquiet. It’s akin to rebooting your essence, shedding the layers of discord to embrace a rebirth of vitality and serenity.
The allure of Reiki beckons to seekers from all walks of life, offering solace to those grappling with chronic discomfort, anxiety's grip, or the restless tumult of sleepless nights. It’s a balm for the weary soul, accelerating convalescence from ailments and infusing life with renewed vigor and zeal.
But is Reiki a salve for your wounds? A resounding yes, for it is a gentle caress, a nurturing embrace, open to all—from the tender embrace of infancy to the wizened wisdom of age. Whether your journey is beset by physical tribulations, emotional tempests, or simply the quest for inner peace, Reiki extends its hand in solidarity.
Yet, amidst its ethereal allure, Reiki remains humble, acknowledging its place as a companion, not a panacea. It stands as a complementary ally, enriching the tapestry of wellness alongside conventional treatments and sage counsel.
What is Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)?
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often called “tapping,” is a powerful tool for releasing stress, clearing emotional blocks, and shifting limiting beliefs. By combining gentle tapping on specific acupressure points with focused language, EFT helps calm the nervous system, dissolve old patterns, and rewire how the mind and body respond to challenges.
In a session, we begin by identifying the issue or thought pattern that’s been keeping you stuck - whether it’s stress, procrastination, fear, or self-sabotage. As we tap through the sequence, clients often feel the emotional intensity of the issue decrease, leaving more space for clarity, calm, and forward momentum.
EFT is practical, safe, and results-oriented. Whether you want to break old habits, ease emotional stress, or create more confidence and flow in your life, EFT offers a direct way to clear what’s in the way and unlock your next step forward.

Reiki and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques/Tapping):
Also called psychological acupressure, EFT is a gentle yet powerful tool for calming stress and restoring balance. By lightly tapping on specific acupressure points while focusing on thoughts or feelings, EFT helps release stuck energy, ease emotional intensity, and bring the nervous system back into harmony.
It is not hypnosis, talk therapy, or a quick distraction technique - it’s a mind-body practice that works directly with your energy system.
During an EFT session, as we sit across from each other, the first thing we do is choose a very clear target. A target can be an emotion, a belief, a memory of a past event, or a symptom in your body.
Using the example of “stress,” the next thing we do is establish where in your body you are feeling the stress, and then we establish how high the stress level is, on a scale of 0-10 (0 being neutral, and 10 being as high as it could be).
Now, once have chosen the target (“I feel very stressed out,”) we measure it on the scale of 0-10, and then we create a set-up phrase (together we will create what feels best for you, such as “I feel so stressed”); then we begin tapping on the various acupressure points on the face and body. As I tap on myself and say the words, you follow along, tapping on yourself and saying what I have just said. This is a very easy process - and the results can be incredibly profound and powerful.
My objective is to get you as close to zero as possible - a four or less is ideal. When this happens, your nervous system is calming, and shifting/healing/moving forward can begin.”
Reiki:
Reiki means “universal life force.” It is a hands-on (or hands-just-above) practice that channels this natural energy to support deep relaxation, emotional release, and inner balance. Many people experience Reiki as a soothing flow that clears blockages and restores a sense of calm, clarity, and vitality.
Reiki is not massage, a religion, or a belief system - it’s an energy-based approach that gently supports the body’s own capacity to heal and renew.
During a session, you’ll remain fully clothed and comfortably lying down. No oils are used. My role is to channel the energy, your role is simply to breathe and receive. Clients often describe sensations of warmth or tingling at the points of contact, along with a profound relaxation that opens the door to healing.
