Many of our Health Haven patients choose yoga to help strengthen weak muscles and overcome common problems like low back pain among others.

Grethe’s goal for patients is to help improve flexibility, work on the mind-body connection, reduce stress, improve range of motion and work on proper breathing methods that you can take with you into your daily life.

Your First Session

We can’t wait to help you unlock your true health potential with focused yoga. At your first session with Grethe, she’ll get to know you and your goals, as well as your problem areas. She takes an individual approach with each person she works with, understanding that no two bodies are alike.

She’ll also pull from various styles of yoga to help you achieve the best practice possible, giving your body exactly what it needs for success, healing, and relaxation. She’ll also incorporate mindfulness and breathing exercises into your sessions.

If you feel like yoga isn’t for you-think again. As Grethe puts it, “If you can breathe, you can do yoga!”

Meet Your Instructor, Grethe

Grethe turned to yoga more than 10 years ago during a period of her life in which stress was prevalent. After just a few sessions, she understood the power of the practice firsthand, as her stress levels were better managed and she was able to relax. Ever since, she’s wanted to give the gift of yoga to others, which is exactly what she hopes to do at Health Haven.
